A Network-related or Instance-specific Error Article

We sometimes see this error if a new user is trying to launch the program for the very first time.

  • Please try right clicking on the Dynamic Budgets icon,
  • Choose Run as Admin,
  • Enter the admin credentials,
  • Once the program starts and you see the program's login screen, you should be able to just click login.i

If that works, you can try closing the program, re-opening the program by simply double clicking the icon, and hopefully the second time through it will cooperate (without doing the run as admin)

If that doesn't work please have IT verify that the SQL server is responsive.i

If you are still having trouble we can do an online meeting to investigate further.
