PURPOSE:  Hourly or Eligibility Calendar is the screen on which the organization defines the number of pay periods by which they wish to budget hours worked and to which fiscal month each applies.  Pay period can be the true pay period (weekly, bi-weekly, twice/month, etc) or can be generic (a month). These pay periods define the data entry columns displayed on the Hourly Staffing screen.  This window also drives the number of pay periods specified per fiscal period on the Payroll Expense Definitions for the "Annual Amt - Custom PPDs" selection.  On this screen, also define the fiscal period in which January falls (e.g., P07 for a fiscal year of July-June).  This calendar must be created (minimum of a 12-month calendar) in order to use Eligible Dates for fringe benefits in Payroll Assignments.

Tip - the page supports pasting from Excel and a calendar may more easily be created there.

Each row of the Calendar must be checked-on as Enabled.  Period Number is the count of pay periods being defined; Fiscal Period is the number of the month to which it is to be budgeted.

Technical Note:

The following SQL query may be run to jump start this calendar:

Select * from {CompanyDB}.dbo.sy40100 where series=0 and Year1=@Year
