Application Login Options Article
Dynamic Budgets has a two-fold login screen:
- The upper half of the login screen authenticates the user to the application
- The lower half authenticates the application with the SQL Server
Application Login Options:
- Application specific user account
- Windows Active Directory account
- ( Active Directory options are specified in the file [DynamicBudgets.Windows.Client.exe.config] )
- "Use my Windows Login" checkbox can be hidden
- <add key="UseMyWindowsLogin" value="0"/>
- "Use my WIndows Login" can be pre-checked
SQL Server Authentication Options:
- Single Shared Service Account Login (typical choice)
- Individual SQL Authentication Accounts
- Individual Windows Authentication Accounts
